My name is Caroline and I am writing from Red Line Book Festival. Our fourth annual Red Line Book Festival starts next week. We have two terrific events on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th October â?? I would be grateful if you could tell your students/friends/colleagues about them.

Windows into Other Worlds â?? a look at the Short Story phenomenon with Ferdia MacAnna, Niamh Boyce, Maire T. Robinson and Michael Oâ??Higgins.  A lot of writers start out by writing short stories, and this genre is now hugely popular. These award winning writers will discuss the genre and share their insights into crafting a winning short story. They are happy to answer questions from the audience so itâ??s definitely an opportunity to learn from the masters!

Readers Day â?? In conversation with Dermot Bolger â?? Jennifer Johnston, Mary Costello, Martina Devlin, Michael Oâ??Loughlin, Carlo Gebler, Hugo Hamilton and Joe Duffy. (Not in that running order).  A wonderful day of interesting and engaging speakers and readings. Not to be missed.
